Neuronal connections can be deduced down to a simple algorithm, but how do we make sense of the data if everyones output means something different? Decoding the brain is seen as the future for managing brain disorders, paralysis and even storing memories after death.
Drink spiking
Unfortunately drink spiking is a common occurrence, leaving victims vulnerable to assault, rape and theft. Can we engineering a safer nightlife experience?
EV affordability
Multiple states have or plan to ban the sale of fuel powered cars in the future, cementing electric vehicles as the one-size-fits-all solution for the future, but is this economically feasible?
Lethal force alternatives
Only in rare circumstances is lethal force required for self-defence or law enforcement to carry out their duties. Stun-guns and mace are alternatives to firearms, but are these the only options?
Preventing falls
Falls are a leading cause of complications and death for aging adults. “Senior-proofing” the home is one solution, but it often seen as degrading.

Our Story
Founders, Nick and Chris Minteer have trained at some of the top Universities in the world and started one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, generating over $10M with no investors, all while they were still in school. They took an idea that started in their parents garage to a global powerhouse. The Minteer Academy is based on the principals the Minteer brothers learned working together and with their team. Nick, the business mind, trained at University College London, and Chris, the product mind, a PhD Scientist, trained at University of Cambridge and Yale University. The Academy takes the same perspectives which made Nick and Chris so effective as co-founders and applies it in a real-world course, where ambitious teens have the opportunity to take on big problems through either an entrepreneurial or research lens.
