Chemical waste
Organic synthesis, chemical industries, manufacturing and many other institutions produce hazardous chemical waste, which if not handled appropriately can be dangerous and economically draining.
Crime scene forensics
Tracking and identifying biochemical evidence can make or break a case in a homicide investigation. Even old cases are being re-evaluated using new technologies to overturn incorrect verdicts.
Drug screening
Expediting the drug approval process starts with identifying more promising drug candidates earlier in discovery. Screening platforms which can identify functional molecules are revolutionizing pre-clinical drug development.
Drug synthesis
Pharmaceutical chemists have a difficult job, needing to delicately balance production feasibility with biological potential. If done incorrectly billions can be wasted and synthetic reactions can turn into bombs.
Fuel alternatives
Corn based fuels are proposed fuel alternatives, but they could lead to a food scarcity crisis, questioning if chemical fuel alternatives exist or if batteries are the future.
Narcotic drug detection

Founders, Nick and Chris Minteer have trained at some of the top Universities in the world and started one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, generating over $10M with no investors, all while they were still in school. They took an idea that started in their parents garage to a global powerhouse. The Minteer Academy is based on the principals the Minteer brothers learned working together and with their team. Nick, the business mind, trained at University College London, and Chris, the product mind, a PhD Scientist, trained at University of Cambridge and Yale University. The Academy takes the same perspectives which made Nick and Chris so effective as co-founders and applies it in a real-world course, where ambitious teens have the opportunity to take on big problems through either an entrepreneurial or research lens.
