Students select an area of interest, then they are matched with an expert mentor and carry out a 12 week personalized project in either an entrepreneurship or research track.

Founders, Nick and Chris Minteer have trained at some of the top Universities in the world and started one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, generating over $10M with no investors, all while they were still in school. They took an idea that started in their parents garage to a global powerhouse. The Minteer Academy is based on the principals the Minteer brothers learned working together and with their team. Nick, the business mind, trained at University College London, and Chris, the product mind, a PhD Scientist, trained at University of Cambridge and Yale University. The Academy is a 12 week experience that culminates with students presenting their project in a pitch competition, with judges deciding which ideas will gain subsequent funding. The curriculum consists of 20 hours of archived video learning designed to give all students the necessary background to be successful, then weekly live sessions with experts to provide idea inspiring context, followed by weekly innovation group meetings (office hours) with fellow peers allowing students to work side-by-side and build essential team building skills, then finally bi-monthly 1:1 meetings with their assigned expert mentor. In total, students receive 86 hours of instruction.
