Our Story

Founders, Nick and Chris Minteer have trained at some of the top Universities in the world and started one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, generating over $10M with no investors, all while they were still in school. They took an idea that started in their parents garage to a global powerhouse. The Minteer Academy is based on the principals the Minteer brothers learned working together and with their team. Nick, the business mind, trained at University College London, and Chris, the product mind, a PhD Scientist, trained at University of Cambridge and Yale University. The Academy takes the same perspectives which made Nick and Chris so effective as co-founders and applies it in a real-world course, where ambitious teens have the opportunity to take on big problems through either an entrepreneurial or research lens.

Christopher Minteer, PhD

Dr. Christopher Minteer is an Experimental Pathologist, Technologist and Entrepreneur. He completed his PhD work in the Levine Laboratory at Yale School of Medicine where he developed cellular models of aging and discovered cellular replication is a driver of entropic aging – a term he coined as cell drift. Dr. Minteer has published his work in top academic journals, including Aging Cell, Nature Aging and EBioMedicine. He also serves as the COO of Royal Flagship, a data-driven E-commerce agency, where he helped develop supply-chain networks and market indices and algorithms.

Nicholas Minteer, MSc

Nicholas Minteer is a serial Entrepreneur and 3x founder with a specialization in distribution, global markets, consumer analytics and risk management. He spun out Royal Flagship from his time in business school in London, which now operates locations in Seattle, Miami, London and Milan and connects brands and innovators to global markets. Under his direction as CEO the company has grown over 14,000% since 2017, generated over $10M in revenue and completed over 500,000 transactions in over 50 countries worldwide.
